    Difíciles momentos está viviendo Cristiano Ronaldo en los últimos días tras la denuncia formal por violación que ha hecho una estadounidense en su contra, algo que no solo le está causando problemas con sus patrocinadores, sino también podría llevarlo tras las rejas.

    Kathryn Mayorga acusó al futbolista de haber abusado sexualmente de ella en una fiesta en Las Vegas hace 9 años, sin embargo tras un acuerdo económico de 325 mil euros, la mujer decidió olvidar el caso, hasta hace unas semanas que llevar al delantero ante la justicia.

Just hours later the multi-millionaire footballer, wearing a fitted white shirt hugging his famously muscular torso, is accused of continuing to have sex with the then 25-year-old nightclub dancer in the penthouse suite after she had said 'stop'. Today, Ronaldo, 33, took to Twitter to defend himself, posting: 'I firmly deny the accusations being issued against me. --------------------------------------------------- Rape is an abominable crime that goes against everything that I am and believe in. Keen as I may be to clear my name, I refuse to feed the media spectacle created by people seeking to promote themselves at my expense'. In a second tweet, he added: 'My clear conscious will thereby allow me to await with tranquillity the results of any and all investigations. @video2fone #video2fone

    Ahora Cristiano podría enfrentar una pena de cadena perpetua, la cual podría evitar si regresa a Portugal, ya que por una cláusula legal el país luso prohíbe la extradición de un ciudadano suyo, aún cuando éste sea culpable.

    Por si fuera poco Nike, se está planteando quitarle el patrocinio al jugador por la acusación, la cual él llama una vil mentira, además confesó que confía en que la justicia pruebe su inocencia.
